ANTE serves to provide the resources and platform for those within the ANTE collective to conceptualise, develop, and deliver their products. The aforementioned resources principally refers to the efforts and intangible value from individuals within the collective (e.g. time, advice, opinion, network, support) as well as capital and tangible items (e.g. equipment). The collective will hold themselves and each other to account, always having the goal of delivering collaboratively as a priority.

Individuals within the ANTE collective are the most valuable asset, and it is the primary concern of Partners within ANTE to ensure membership is appropriate, diverse, and whose character and beliefs are in line with the collective’s ethos.

With regards to operation, ANTE rejects the capitalist mode of operation adopted by most organisations currently operating in the world. The concept of maximising profits is not the primary drive for delivery – it is the realisation of value, where value refers to quality from both producer and consumer perspectives. ANTE strives to be anti-establishment and promotes ethical and sustainable practices that benefit the ANTE collective, the audience it reaches, and those that it doesn’t.

ANTE promotes the artist’s true vision, keeping the artist / product lead at the centre of the process as they strive to realise their product to as close as intended/desired result as possible. However, the focus on the ANTE collective is not to be lessened despite the respect toward the artist’s/product lead’s vision. Having a community-driven approach to delivery and recognising the value of individuals can come in all forms and as such, collaboration is the life-blood of all endeavours with which its efficiency is the primary measure of success:

Successful collaboration = Successful product

And not, vice versa.
